Yvonne Rodriguez is the definition to YRPR's motto: Charming Persistence.  Before partnering with her twin sister, Yvette, Yvonne gained 10 years of media experience as a Programming Editor for the Telemundo Network.  As the Creative Director for Y.R. Public Relations, she focuses on business development and building the brand.

The University of Florida Alum earned a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications-TV News while producing newscasts for CNN Headline News.

Entrepreneurship is huge passion for Yvonne.  Alongside Yvette, they launched the Miami-based, boutique cigar line, Tres Lindas Cubanas Cigars, which is carried by several retail locations throughout the United States and has been featured in almost every major news outlet. 

Yvonne's entrepreneurial spirit is ever burning and she continues to work on developing her next business venture.  In the meantime, she is very active in strengthening the Afro-Latino community with the organization, Afro-Latino Professionals. 


Y.R. Public Relations is built on a foundation of journalism with more than 15 years of collective experience at South Florida's top television network and radio stations.  The YRPR team is also committed to contributing to community organizations such as: Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program and the Afro-Latino Professionals organization.

Celebrating the 8th year anniversary of Y.R. Public Relations, Yvette Rodriguez has successfully represented clients in an array of industries and continues to secure media coverage in both local and national levels.

Before launching YRPR, Yvette began her communications career at the University of Florida’s WUFT-News 5.  Upon earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications-TV News, as a journalist Yvette gained experience working at South Florida's WSVN-7 News and News Radio-610 WIOD.  

She’s since expanded her publicity knowledge to launch her second business, Tres Lindas Cubanas Cigars alongside her twin sister, Yvonne.

Together they’ve launched the first and only, Black-female owned Cigar brand in the United States.  As the publicist for TLC Cigars, Yvette continues to secure both local and national media coverage for the brand. 

As a first generation Cuban-American, Yvette is also the founder of the Miami-based organization Afro-Latino Professionals.
